If you read my blog on a regular basis, you’ll notice that “mindset” is the most popular category and written-about topic. The reason for this is simple…
Without the right mindset – even if you have ALL of the correct strategies in place – you will NOT make a decent amount of money online. Fact.
I’ve seen many people with the correct knowledge fail time and time again because they didn’t approach things in the right way.
But there’s one mindset trait which tops them all, and it’s all about having your own “reason why”…
Having a “reason why” is as simple as it sounds – it’s the reason why you put in the extra hours and dedicate yourself to making your online business successful.
If you have your own “reason why” (or even a few of them), you’ll become laser-focused and reach your goals a heck of a lot faster and more efficiently than you ever thought possible.
But if you don’t have your own “reason why”, then you’ll still be at square one another few years down the line.
So it’s important that you identify your “reason why” as soon as possible, and cement it into your mind and surroundings in some way.
My own “reasons why” for building a successful information marketing business are:
1) More freedom – To be able to do whatever I want, whenever I want, without the restraints of a traditional job.
2) Better “things” – To be able to afford multiple huge houses in places around the world (UK, Italy and the USA), Ferrari 458 Italia & BMW M5, our own pool, and to provide for my family and future children. Basically to become financially free and to live a life of luxury, and never having to “settle” for something.
3) To help people – To create better lives for people all over the world, and leave a “legacy”.
Now obviously some of the items in reason #2 are still a “work in progress”, but I’d say that I’ve already achieved reasons #1 and #3. (It’s just a matter of scaling up the volume of these.)
But here’s the point of this exercise…
With whatever task I do – whether it’s creating a new product, promoting a launch or anything else in my online business – I always do it because of the above “reasons why”.
Without these reasons, there’d be no point in doing anything, meaning I’d be consistently losing motivation to continue working on my online business – meaning I’d ultimately achieve nothing.
That’s how important these reasons are.
So now I’d like you to do the following…
Sit down and think to yourself, “why am I doing all this?”.
Once you’ve found the answer(s) to that question, place a reminder of these reasons where you spend the most time, e.g. near (or on) your computer.
Then you’ll never have a problem with getting stuff done ever again.
