What If English Isn't Your First Language?

With your online information marketing business being global in nature, most of your communication will probably be done in English.

But what if English isn't your first language? How do you communicate with your prospects, subscribers and customers effectively?

After all, most customers won't even read past a few lines of broken English, never mind actually buy something from you. They just won't see you as a professional.

However - if you currently struggle to speak or write English, it is definitely NOT a barrier to your success (unless you make it one).

Fortunately there IS a way to still become successful... Just like many other non-English experts did, including my good friend Igor Kheifets who started off with basic English skills, and is now making above $70k per month by helping people all over the world with list building.

The first thing you need to do is take up English lessons immediately.

It WILL be tough and time-consuming to become fluent, but it'll be more than worth it when you can communicate to your audience so persuasively that you can generate sales on demand.

These lessons can be done either in your home town (just Google "English class in", then type your location), or via the Internet. Fiverr has some great one-on-one tuition for just $5 if you look for it, along with many great websites dedicated to teaching it.

The second thing you can do is hire a proof reader. This will allow you to write to the best of your ability, then they can edit the sentences to make grammatical sense and ensure that everything is spelled correctly.

Once again, this can be done either on Fiverr.com, or an any good freelancing website including oDesk.com or Elance.com.

When you do these two things, you're not only fixing the foundations of the problem (i.e. not being able to speak English fluently), but you're also giving your problem a helping hand from someone who can fix any mistakes for you.

The Internet makes building an online business a possibility for people of all nationalities, and if you're currently using your language skills as an excuse for your lack of success, NOW is the time to drop that self-imposed barrier and get to work on fixing it. There's a $10,000+ per month online business waiting for you on the other side.

And while you do that, I'll continue learning Italian for my long vacation later this year 😉

Good luck!
- James Francis.

  1. You can also use sites like duolingo if you want to learn a different language (if you already speak English) or check out Rosetta Stone.

    Learning Italian huh?

How is that going? I'm sure you'll be speaking Italian pretty well.

  2. Thank you for the post James.
Your right, as long as English is my second language I can relate to what you are writing. Fortunately my wife has great skills in English grammar so I use here as a proof reader before I publish anything. (But not this piece of contribution though..)

    Talk soon,
